Well, I wanted to share with you fellow gardeners what I was able to get done this year. We removed our cannas and put a Mediterranean Fan Palm in their place. I thought it might be a little more drought tolerant, as well as easier to maintain (I always had to cut the grass by hand around the base of the cannas).
We had the pine tree out front removed because it was messing with our foundation on the house.
We have a couple of new "faces" in the yard.
We put up a new squirrel feeder for our bushy-tailed friends.
Let me know what you think and send me pictures of your yard or, who knows, I might have to personally show up to see it for myself.
